I first visited Oz in 1996/7. I have been back 3 or 4 times since and have traveled the coasts both East and West. I have stayed in awesome little backpackers and self catering houses in Perth, Secret Harbour and Margaret River. I love Margies and have been 3 times now, and can tell you all about the surf, the micro breweries and the wine tastings.
Melbourne, Victoria, Bells Beach is amazing, and the surf cooks. I scored it all so good, with one epic morning at 8 foot Bells with just Occy and myself out trading wave for wave.
