I am a family man now. I have a young family with 2 boys, Kodi ( 2.5 yrs) and Ryder ( 4 months old). It all changes when you travel with a family, even if you’re a seasoned traveller and can go with the flow. You definitely want things to be simple, quick and easy, even in 3rd world locations. You want the good seats,efficient transfers and neat, clean rooms. And if you can afford it or have the choice, then a resort with kiddy club, Baby sitters and lots of garden, pools and beach is highly recommended. I have done it myself, and have helped send hundreds of friends and clients on many amazing Island holidays, with their kids and loved ones.
