This is a shot from our Charter in the Mentawais last year. My 2 brothers and I, and 4 of our best mates. This is what its all about. Amazing waves, good friends, cold Bintang Beer and tasty Mie Goreng & banana pancakes. We got solid, epic waves for 12 out of 12 days thanks to our LEGEND skipper and his awesome crew. Remember when booking a surf charter; Its not about the boat only, its more about the skipper. 1.You want a great skipper , who surfs and who knows the area better than anyone 2. Great food 3. A good boat. I have spent months in the Mentawais, Maldives, Madagascar and other Indian ocean areas on surf charters, and have sent many hundreds of my mates and clients on them as well. There are only a very few Charters that I would personally recommend in each of these areas right now. Know before you go!
